Attend the parties and other events
You should definitely experience Alternative Parties and other Alternative events. They are fun and much more. More information about future events can be found at this site. Read also in the archive about previous events. You are also most welcome to participate in the planning and preparations of the parties.

Behind our events there is a registered non-profit association called Alternative Party ry, based in Helsinki, Finland. You can be a member, too!

There is a nice Alt group on Facebook. Also the Finnish IRC-Galleria has an Alt community.
Join the Mailing lists
You can also join to the Alternative Party's mailing list. There are two lists:
altparty (Discussion and announcements) or
altparty-announce (Announcements only)
Note that all announcements will be posted to the altparty list as well. There is no need to join both mailing lists!
To join, mail Fishpool's ecartis service, ecartis@lists.fishpool.fi, with
subscribe [email]
in the body, where is either altparty or altparty-announce. You can use the optional email argument to specify your address if it is not the same as the 'from' address.
To unsubscribe, sent the following to the majordomo address:

Join the IRC channel #altparty (IRCnet)
On IRCnet you can join #altparty for discussion and general chat about Alternative Party.

The Alt condoms have already expired but you might still encounter them somewhere. Beware!
The Alt Wiki - currently under maintenance
You should try the AltWiki -- a free area for thoughts, ideas and information about anythying that defines us as a community. An area with information on scenes, music, events etc. etc. Plus, anybody can modify the content.Your scene isn't represented well enough? Add more information yourself!
Currently AltWiki is plagued by spammers, but we are working on this...
